Paratransit Service

LSU Parking & Transportation Services has launched a new Paratransit service designed to help students, registered through Disability Services, get from the parking lot to their classes with ease. Our Paratransit service is equipped with vehicles that are wheelchair accessible and trained drivers who will ensure that students are safely transported throughout campus.

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

After 5:00 p.m., the On Demand Transit service will become available.

How to Schedule a Ride

Below are your options for scheduling a ride on the Paratransit service.

Option 1: Download the Transloc App - RECOMMENDED

The Transloc mobile application can be downloaded through your Android or Apple device. 

Option 2: Call LSU Parking & Transportation Services Dispatch

Riders can contact the transit dispatch at 225-578-5555 to schedule a ride.

Note: Calls are answered and scheduled in the order in which they are received. Hold times may vary based on call volume. Riders are encouraged to use the Transloc app for expedited scheduling. 

Things to Remember

• Arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time. 
• Rides will take 10-15 minutes depending on campus traffic.
• Provide the driver with your name and PAWS ID and/or LSU ID
