How to Register

When registering, a non-refundable $500 deposit is required to secure faculty, staff, and housing for Summer Academy. This payment is part of your total camp fee.
Please ensure your balance is paid by our posted deadline each year. If you need to make alternate arrangements, please contact us at summer-academy@lsu.edu before this deadline.
Approved refunds will be for the total cost of camp minus the non-refundable deposit. In the event of a student arriving late, leaving early, or being dismissed due to a program or LSU policy violation, no prorated refund will be provided. We reserve the right to cancel any camp for any reason, and if that occurs, we will issue a full refund of 100%.
We understand that sometimes families may have to cancel their student’s participation. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as equitable as possible while maintain our ability to conduct our program.
1. The $500 registration fee is non-refundable.
2. Up to four weeks before the start of the program: Full refund, not including the registration fee.
3. Less than four weeks before the program starts: Non-refundable.
Should you need to cancel a registration, please send a written request to summer-academy@lsu.edu. In your message, include the student’s name, camp name, and, if applicable, a note of medical necessity from a licensed physician.
Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Drop Off: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Pick Up: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Request an ADA Accommodation
LSU complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. If your student has an IEP or 504 plan, please inform us of any accommodations or modifications they may require for participation in the Summer Academy and their chosen camp.
Students in need of disability-based accommodations should note this in the registration form and also contact us via email at summer-academy@lsu.edu to communicate their specific accommodation requirements.
