The Executive Branch of LSU Student Government is divided into departments. These departments cover a range of functions tasked with advancing the student experience in that area. Below is the list of departments and their officers.

Presidential Chief of Staff: Serves as the primary advisor and operational manager for the Student Body President, coordinating the executive staff's day-to-day functions and long-term initiatives. They oversee internal communications, manage scheduling and project coordination, ensure alignment across all departments, and act as the central liaison between the executive team and university administration.

Director of Athletics: Serves as the liaison between SG and LSU Athletics, advocating for student interests and promoting involvement across all athletic programs. They coordinate student engagement at sporting events, champion student-athlete advocacy, and lead the planning and execution of the annual away football game bus trip.

Director of Campus Life and Sustainability: Oversees student feedback and advocacy related to dining, housing, parking, and auxiliary services while leading sustainability initiatives across campus. College Council Director: Serves as the primary point of contact between LSU's 15 College Councils and the SG executive branch. They facilitate communication, support council-led programming and initiatives, and ensure each college's students are unified and well-represented within SG and university administration.

Director of Disability Services: Advocates for accessibility and inclusivity across campus, working with the Office of Disability Services, student leaders, and university administration to identify barriers and drive policy improvements that make LSU a more equitable campus for all students.

Finance Director: Manages the SG budget, oversees financial planning, and ensures proper allocation of funds. They handle funding requests, track expenses, and maintain financial transparency and accountability in collaboration with student organizations and university officials.

Director of Freshman Leadership Council: Leads and oversees LSU's Freshman Leadership Council, guiding the next generation of student leaders through mentorship, leadership development programming, and hands-on SG involvement. They are responsible for shaping the FLC experience from start to finish and ensuring participants leave equipped to make a lasting impact at LSU.

Legislative Counsel: Serves as the administration's primary expert on the SG code, governing documents, and bylaws, ensuring the executive branch remains in full compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. They advise the President, Vice President, and executive staff on matters of SG law and review initiatives and decisions for procedural accuracy.

They serve as the executive branch's primary liaison to government entities, working to translate student concerns into actionable policy and build relationships with elected officials on behalf of the LSU student body.
