Advising Guide for Parents, Families, and Advisors -- University Hearing Panel: This guide is aimed to provide any person serving as an advisor to LSU students engaged in the accountability process.

Center for Academic Success: As LSU’s central learning center, the Center for Academic Success promotes self-efficacy and lifelong learning by empowering individuals with transformational strategies that foster critical thinking and metacognitive development in order to advance student persistence and success.

Code of Student Conduct: As the guiding policy document for LSU students, this "Code" includes expectations about academic and behavioral conduct for students both on and off campus.

Disability Services: In collaboration with other university departments, Disability Services is committed to providing appropriate auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities in an effort to ensure their full participation in all activities, programs, and services to the university.

FERPA Waiver: Consistent with the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, a student may examine his or her accountability records. However, these records are generally not available to persons outside the University except in accordance with state and federal law.

Legal Assistance: LSU does not have a legal assistance program at this time. However, there are other options within the Baton Rouge community which may be helpful to you.

LSU CARES: The mission of LSU CARES is to facilitate community development and student success through providing a mechanism for reporting situations and students of concern in an appropriate way.

LSU Police Department: Should you have an emergency situation or require resources of a safety nature, please visit the LSU PD website or contact them directly.

LSU Psychological Services: The Psychological Services Center (PSC) is an on-campus unit of the LSU Department of Psychology that offers testing and outpatient psychotherapy services for adults, adolescents, and children.
