Undergraduate Student Options

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Anthropology
  • Minor in Anthropology
  • No degree in Forensic Anthropology is offered.
  • Courses in Forensic Anthropology are available: ANTH 2014 & ANTH 4014
  • Other courses related to Forensic Anthropology are offered sporadically.
  • Those that have an interest in Forensic Anthropology may apply for opportunities to learn in FACES Laboratory (including skeletal analysis and assisting with projects and research). Details on the application process can be found here.

Graduate Student Options

  • Master of Arts (MA) in Anthropology (with a Forensic Anthropology thesis option).
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology (however there is no PhD in Forensic Anthropology offered). Currently, none of the forensic anthropology faculty members are accepting PhD students.
  • Graduate level courses in Forensic Anthropology and related topics are available.
  • Laboratory experience and field recovery opportunities are available to MA students focusing on Forensic Anthropology.
  • A small number of graduate assistantships (tuition + stipend) are offered on a competitive basis through the FACES Laboratory.
