The Black Faculty & Staff Caucus’ (BFSC) purpose is to ensure and maintain equitable treatment of African American faculty and staff in promotions and job opportunities. The organization shall serve as an advocate for educational equity and a work environment free of racial tensions and biases with the liberty of investigating and addressing concerns. BFSC shall also monitor and address retention of minority faculty, staff and students. The organization shall provide assistance, education and social interaction for faculty, staff and students through workshops, lectures, seminars, meetings, professional development opportunities and employee assistance programs within and outside the University community. Any employee of LSU is welcome to join!
