I came into higher education because I wanted a career where I could make a difference in students' lives. I love being part of student development and feel that I have unique leadership skills that draw students to me. One of my greatest accomplishments is taking students' visions and helping them become a reality. I also know it is important for there to be minority representation for students. During my own college career, there were very few key administrators that looked like me and my goal is to allow students of color to see a face similar to theirs and know that they belong.

My favorite TV shows are anything on HGTV, The Good Doctor, and How to Get Away With Murder.

Alternate career

If I didn't work in higher education, I'd want to be an interior designer. I love looking at spaces and seeing past the now to envision what it could become.
