I do this work because it's rewarding and fulfilling. I love being part of the student's
journey through their collegiate years. Supporting students, especially during their
pivotal years of growth, is amazing.
When I started my undergraduate degree, I had the odds stacked against me from graduating. I was not strong in my academics; I didn't make a connection with my campus or my faculty right away – it was terrifying. It was not until I joined my sorority and met with staff in my college, where I developed connections, that I genuinely felt like I was meant to succeed, especially in higher education. So, I do this work to give back to those who helped me grow. To give students the opportunities they're looking for and support them through those developmental years.
