Mary Bergeron
Mary Bergeron is Studio Manager for the LSU Coastal Ecosystem Design Studio, responsible for organizational development and advancement and day-today operations. She is a 20+ year veteran of business development, marketing, corporate image positioning, and project management with a special emphasis on identifying new lines of business and strategic product development. During her sales and marketing career in the IT sector and organizational leadership in the public and non-profit worlds, Mary has been consistently acknowledged for growth, achievement, increased revenues, and profitability. Prior to CEDS, Mary served as the Director of Advancement and Development for the LSU School of the Coast and Environment, where she contributed to the overall strategy for advancing mission, brand, and recruitment efforts; spearheaded communications; and increased the number and amounts of new gifts. Upon joining the LSU Coastal Sustainability Studio in 2015, Mary facilitated the development of the five-year strategic plan; then, in 2022, contributed to building the framework for the merger of LSU CSS and the Center for Coastal Resiliency to form CEDS.
