BATON ROUGE - Seventy-seven LSU faculty were notified of their promotion and/or tenure during the 2023 - 2024 academic year. These individuals completed a rigorous process at the departmental, college and university level.

The LSU Office of Academic Affairs will host a recognition ceremony for these faculty in the fall. Our stately oaks and broad magnolias, Tiger Stadium, Memorial Tower, and the Northern Italian Renaissance architectural style of our buildings may be the iconic representations of our beautiful campus. But the faculty are the heart and soul of LSU, and continue to be the number one reason students from all over the world are attracted to LSU for their education.
